Photograph shows a flock of chickens in a fenced in yard. A black rooster can be seen standing amongst the hens. These chickens might be the General Haig breed raised by William Frederick McGuinness and Kerr.
Photograph shows the interior of a bar with a group of 18 patrons and staff standing to the right of the counter. Two framed photographs of dogs playing poker hang above the bar. Date ascertained from certificate hanging above the cash register.

William Henderson is listed as the bartender for the Grand Union Hotel in the 1909 Henderson's Brandon City Directory.

View is northeast, taken from the John R. Brodie Science Centre. Photograph shows: the Brandon College Building, the Student Services H-Hut, the Education Building, and the Student Union Building (Citizens' Science Building), as well as 18th Street and some houses. The trailer to the south of the Education Building was a Canada Manpower office in the 1960s. It was latter moved over by the Gymnasium, where it became the Quill office.
The HMCS Fraser (1951-1994) was a St. Laurent-class destroyer in the Royal Canadian Navy/Canadian Forces. It was a Canadian designed and built warship.
