Various cracks all over surface which appear to be pressure cracks from where the paint couldn't stretch, and cracked instead. Canvas in also loose. Frame has multiple small cracks and chips in the gild.
There is a 3cm tear in TR area of painting. Frame has plaster gild broken in various areas, especially along the left vertical arm. The finish on the frame is also worn off in various places.

Cracking of varnish throughout, as well as heavy application of varnish. Nail that is holding the canvas in place is poking through mid way up the right side (1996).
Glass is broken right through center into three pieces but is holding together by clear tape over the complete surface of the glass. The frame has come apart into three pieces along its mitre joints. Several small pieces of gild are broken off from frame
