The Brandon Co-op building is located between 6th and 7th Street on the south side of Princess Avenue. The building later housed the Brandon Public Library and Convergys.

Courtney Milne, a native of the Canadian prairies, grew up in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. He was educated at the University of Saskatchewan, Brooks Institute, Santa Barbara, California, and the University of Minnesota. Milne is the author of several books: 'Prairie Light', 'Prairie Dreams' and recently 'The Sacred Earth', which contains images of 140 world sites that have held mystical and sacred importance for humanity (foreword to this book is written by His Holiness the Dalai Lama). Milne's work has been extensively exhibited both on national and international levels. Courtney Milne lives with his wife Sherrill Miller on an acreage outside Saskatoon.
