This series contains three sub-series: Layouts & Furnishings, Receipt of Gifts, etc. and Archives. The first sub-series, Layouts and Furnishings, consists of photos of the Brandon College and University libraries from the 1940’s to the present time. These photos highlight interesting areas of the library and include past and present library staff members. The second sub-series contains photos taken in the library during presentations of gifts, and other important events, such as the naming of the Robbins Library. The third sub-series contains photos taken in the McKee Archives, at its former location in the Jeff Umphrey Building, and since 1997, in its new location on the mezzanine floor of the John E. Robbins Library.
Photograph came from the estate of Margaret Hawley Speers, Class of 1928. It was donated to the McKee Archives by her cousin David Speers in July 2009.
Scope and Content
Item consists of 87 small portraits of the members of the Brandon College Arts Class of 1928. There are also portraits of H.L. McNeill, Dean of Arts, and Prof. C.P. Kerr, Hon. President, as well as a photo of the Brandon College campus. The Class of 1928's motto "Patet Omnibus Veritas" is also included.
Donkersloot began working at Brandon University in 1970/1971 as the Clerk of Works. From 1973 until his retirement, he was the Director of Physical Plant.
The Site Services building was built in 1971.

Located south of the steam plant on 20th Street by Darrach Hall, the building replaced the old Physical Plant occupying the World War II H-Huts. The new building serves as the hub for many campus operations, providing services from security and technical support, to building maintenance, deliveries, grounds keeping, cleaning, and capital project management.
