Clara Mae Bulloch (nee Deacon) was born on November 12, 1891 in Elgin County, ON. Her family came to Winnipeg in 1902, settling on a farm in the Dunrea area. Clara attended Brandon Normal School, then taught at Crystal City and Maple Grove. She took Second Class Normal in Winnipeg in 1915, then taught at Newdale and Reston. It was in Reston where she met her future husband, John David Bulloch (1886-1979). The couple married on July 30, 1919 and together had one son, Robert. Clara Bulloch died on July 18, 1985 in Reston, MB. She is buried in Reston Cemetery.

Earle Marshall Currie was born on March 29, 1891 on section 4-3-19 near Boissevain, MB. He attended Fairburn and Boissevain schools. In 1911, he moved to British Columbia where he owned a poultry farm. Earle married Verlie Annie Merle Jones (1898-1997) on September 3, 1919 and together they had four children, including Glenn and Marshall. The Currie's returned to Boissevain for the 100th anniversary of settlement in the area and the 75th anniversary of the incorporation of the town of Boissevain in 1981. Earle Currie died on April 12, 1983 in Chilliwack, BC.

Harold Arthur Kinniburgh was born in New Zealand in 1883. He spent two years in Brandon working at the Experimental Farm during the summer and studying at Brandon College during the winter. After his years at Brandon College he worked in Canada in the dairy industry from two years and then returned to New Zealand for the balance of his life. He devoted his time to developing a dairy farm in New Zealand. Harold Kinniburgh died in 1953.
Scope and Content
Fonds consists of copies of correspondence written by Kinniburgh to his mother in New Zealand while he was attending Brandon College. The photograph is a copy of the 1905 First Year Academic class at Brandon College.
Harold (Barney) Victor Cleaver was born on October 23, 1916 on the SE section of 20-12-17 in the RM of Elton. He was the eldest son of Donald and Ida Cleaver. Harold attended school in Justice. In 1942, Harold joined the Army, and subequently served in Europe with the R.C.E.M.E., taking part in the D-Day landings at Normandy. Following the Second World War, he returned to the family farm, which he farmed until retirement. Harold married Marie M Curle (1925-2013) on May 30, 1951 and together they raised two children: Louise and Brian. In his younger years, Harold enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also served as a councillor for the RM of Elton for 20 years and was a charter member of the Minnedosa Legion. The couple moved to Brandon in 1996, when Harold's health began to fail. Harold Cleaver died on December 3, 1998 in Brandon, MB. He is buried at Moore Park Cemetery.

As a young man, Harold worked for many years as a carpenter with his father. He was then employed for a few years with the Canadian National Railway (CNR) before becoming a carpenter and carman with the Canadian Pacific Railway (CPR) for thirty-five years. Harold married Winifred Elizabeth Schiedel (1916-1982) in 1939 and together they had six children: Eldine, Marjorie, David, Dale, Mildred and Ralph. A keen conservationist, Harold was a member of the Manitoba Naturalist Society. He also enjoyed gardening, bird watching, fishing, hunting, woodworking, reading, typing and cribbage, and possessed an excellent knowledge of the history of Brandon and surrounding area. Harold Watson died on November 30, 1994 in Brandon, MB. He is buried at Brandon Municipal Cemetery.
