The Brandon University Photograph collection is an artifically created collection. It includes photographs from both Brandon College and Brandon University.
Custodial History
The custodial history is varied. Some photographs were created by officers of the College and the University, or were produced at the request of the institution. Many, as well, have been donated by former faculty members and students. We have tried to record the custodial history for photographs that have been donated by faculty members and students at the item level.

Donated by John G. Townsend of Seal Rock, Oregon (husband of the late I. McVicar) in December 1963.
Scope and Content
Item consists of portraits of members of Brandon College's Intermediate Piano class, 1911, with a photograph of W.L. Wright (Instructor) in the middle. Students include: L. Smith; I. McVicar; E.M. Moore; F.E. Whitman; and Lina Smith.
Photograph was taken at a recital given by graduates of Brandon College's Music Department at First Church United, Brandon, on the occasion of the retirement of Dr. W.L. Wright after forty years as Director of the Department of Music at Brandon College.

The winter carnival was composed of recreational and athletic activities. It also included a dance and the crowning of a carnival king and queen.
