Frances Elizabeth Percival (nee Fraser) attended Brandon College in 1928-1929. She was from Wawanesa, Manitoba and passed away on August 3, 2004 at the age of 93 years.
Custodial History
The records were donated to the McKee Archives by Joy Lalonde, a realtive of Fran Percival's, in 2005.
Scope and Content
Fonds consists of three dance cards from the Brandon Normal School, a photograph album of Brandon College students and activities (many of them identified) and an autographed copy of the 1929 Brandon College Annual Graduation Program.
Mr. Coleman has given the S. J. Archives permission to place a pdf version of Campus Hockey online for use by patrons of the archives.

History / Biographical
Ken Coleman was born in Virden, Manitoba and attended Brandon University from 1970 to 1975; he graduated with a B.A. in Economics and Geography in 1974 and then completed the professional year of teacher training. During his time at Brandon University he served as student manager of the Bobcat hockey team. Coleman was inducted into the Bobcat Hall of Fame in 1996.
From 1982-1985, Coleman taught in Birtle, Manitoba. He spent the next three years working for the Brandon Wheat Kings. From 1988 until his retirement in May 2006, he worked in the newspaper business.
At present (April 2007), Ken Coleman is single and continues to live in Brandon.

Scope and Content
Fonds consists of a copy of "Campus Hockey: It's more than a game" compiled by Ken Coleman, Class of 1974. The book contains players lists (with statistics) and team profiles for the Brandon College years (1909-10 to 1966-67) and players lists (with statistics), coaching records, team profiles, scoring champions, career scorers, career goaltenders and career scoring leaders for the Brandon University years (1967-68 to 2001-02). The book also includes lists for the Honour Roll (1956-57 to 2001-02), school awards (1952-53 to 2001-02) and the Bobcats Hall of Fame (1993-2000). Finally, the book contains black and white copied photographs of many of the teams.

John Stanley Henry was born April 19, 1909 on the home farm at Oak River, MB. He attended Oak River school through Grade 11, then took agriculture at the University of Manitoba for one year before having to withdraw due to financial hardship. Stan then returned to the farm, where he remained for the rest of his life. Stan married Jean Elizabeth McCrindle (1916-1992) in 1942. Together they had three children: Cameron, Lynn and Leslie.
As a farmer, Stan was a Select Seed Grower, and with his son Cam, developed the J.S. Henry and Son Seed business. In 1981, he was elected a Roberson Associate of the Canadian Seed Growers Association. In his early years, Stan also raised purebred Shorthorn cattle. Stan enjoyed restoring and refinishing furniture, gardening and loved sports, especially baseball and curling, including coaching. In the community, Stan was an active member of the United Church and was a trustee on the local board and then the Rolling River shcool board for 23 years. Stan Henry died on October 15, 1986 in Brandon, MB. He is buried at Oak River Cemetery.
Custodial History
As part of the Westman Oral History Collection, this collection was accessioned by the McKee Archives in 1998. The original tapes from the Westman Oral History project were deposited in the Brandon Public Library. Copies of these originals were made by Margaret Pollex of the Brandon University Language Lab at the request of Eileen McFadden, University Archivist in the early 1990s. These copies compose the collection held in the McKee Archives.
