Scope and Content
Item is a team portrait of the 1962-1963 Brandon College men's basketball team. The team were Western Manitoba Senior "B" Champions. Missing from the photograph: Ken Bellas.
Photograph shows the intersection at 10th Street and Princess Avenue, Brandon, Manitoba facing northwest. Visible businesses and buildings on the west side of 10th Street include: the Hughes Building, which house a possible grocery store and lunch coutner on the ground floor and Great-West Life Insurance on the second storey; Doig Store Ltd., Plaza Shoe Shop, Cambridge Clothes, the Alexandra Block, the Strathcona Block, and the Olympia Block.
A street car is travelling south on 10th Street. Angled parking is on both sides of 10th Street. Two-way traffic appears to be travelling on Princess Avenue. A stationary policeman/divider is in the centre of the intersection.
A collection of pictures taken by the School of Music Choir members, while on a trip in Italy.The pictures include shots of the choir itself as well as many different scenic shots of buildings and the countryside.
Donated by John G. Townsend of Seal Rock, Oregon (husband of the late I. McVicar) in December 1963.
Scope and Content
Item consists of portraits of members of Brandon College's Intermediate Piano class, 1911, with a photograph of W.L. Wright (Instructor) in the middle. Students include: L. Smith; I. McVicar; E.M. Moore; F.E. Whitman; and Lina Smith.
