Item is a pen and ink drawing of the Brandon College Building and Clark Hall by Brandon artist Doug Brolund to be used by the University in its "Building for Strength" campaign. A card attached to the print said: "Building from Strength compliments of John R. Mallea and L.D. Whitehead."

These eleven keys were used to open various locks in Clark Hall and the Brandon College Building prior to the restoration of those buildings in 1995-1996. Seven of the keys are labelled and range in size from 4.5 cm to 6 cm. Some are silver, others are gold in colour. They include: Room 118, Clark Hall; D.R. MacKay's Secretary - File cab.; South Entrance 2nd CL; S. door hallway; Storage Room Clark Hall 4th floor; Rm #3 HK277; and Personnel Office. The remaining 4 keys are all silver and vary in size from 3.5 cm to 6 cm.

Box 2
Brandon's City Hall and Opera House opened on New Year's Day 1892 with the Annual Fireman's Ball. The exterior of the building was designed by Brandon architect W.R. Marshall. At the south end was the Opera House, an auditorium formed by an internally exposed framework of delicate iron pillars and trusses. Demonlished in 1971, the limestone rubble of the foundations were turned into a sunken garden located in Princess Park.

Photo was taken from the northwest corner of 9th Street and Princess Avenue and shows the west side of City Hall.

Photograph was taken on the staircase in Clark Hall looking down to the main floor. The door to the President's Office and the entrance door (boarded over) are visible along with the bannnister for the staircase.

Photograph is looking north along the hallway in the basement of Clark Hall prior to renovations. The west side of the hallway was the original location of the Native Studies Department. The Development Office is at the end of the hall. The Print Shop was located on the east side of the basement hallway.
The photograph has bubbled but it hasn't damanged the image.

Photograph is mostly likely of members of the Clark Hall Literary Society pre-World War I.
