The unQuill or Daily Quill (2000) does not constitute part of the archival record of the Quill, as it was published without the authority of the Students' Union or the BUSU Communications Board. A dispute with those in charge of the production of the newspaper had remained unresolved and the Board shut the paper down for a period in Spring and Fall 2000. During this time, the Quill staff published the unQuill and the Daily Quill.

Scope and Content
The McKee Archives holds the following special editions of the Quill: the Alumni Issue 1902-1939 (1939); Brandon University's 75th Anniversary (1974); Westman Community Cable TV Report (1978); In Memory of Dr. W.N. Hargreaves-Mawdsley (1980); and the Quill's 80th Anniversay (1990).
The sub sub sub series also contains copies of the unQuill or Daily Quill (2000) and a file of correspondence from the Quill's 80th Anniversary in 1990. The following former Quill contributors provided personal recollections of their association with the Quill: Jim Skinner, Jim Blanchard, Trent Frayne, Dan Bjarnason, Earl Mills, George T. Eaton, Michael A. Levesque, Jude Kelly, Sahadeo Basdeo, Doug Downing, and Evelyn Bowen Oldham. There are also a number of newsclippings.

14.5.3 The Quill
This man was a shirt wearer and a medicine man. The scalp locks upon his shirt testify to his prowess as a warrior; the arrangement of his hair serves as a symbol of his sacred office as a tribal leader and medicine man. (Harbaugh, P., 1982).
Accretion marks in BM and BR corner. Black transfer marks in areas RM, LM and TL. Color transfer mark to area LM, although it may be inherent to picture.
Numerous creases throughout piece, most especially along top edge, probably due to being rolled up in storage. Large area of pencil smudge in BR corner.
The book of common prayer and administration of the sacraments, and other rites and ceremonies of the church according to the use of the Church of England : together with the Psalter or Psalms of David, pointed as they are to be sung or said in Churches, and the form or manner of making, ordaining and consecrating of bishops, priests and deacons
Series VII: Special Events: This series contains ten sub-series which highlight special events at Brandon University. For example, there are sub-series with photos from Brandon University’s 75th Anniversary, Bicycle Races, and Installations. There is also a very large sub-series called “Other” which includes almost 200 pictures of various special events, such as Prime Minister Chretien’s visit to the university, and Montreal Massacre Vigils held at the university.
File consists of a copy of the proposal for the John E. Robbins Library, space requirements and a request for approval in principle for financial assistance for special capital project to the Universities Grants Commission.
