View is northeast from the Brandon College Building. Photograph shows the inside of the Brandon College Building after it had been gutted and then partially rebuilt. The exterior fascade of the west side of the building can be clearly seen in this photograph. A number of houses on the east side of 200 block of 18th Street are also visible, as is the stone fence on Princess Avenue and the flag pole on the front lawn.

Photo shows a number of horse-drawn vehicles parked alongside the Canadian Pacific Railway freight sheds. Includes carts for: Campbell's (for rugs and linoleum), Oliver Plows and Imperial Oil Co. The Codville Company Limited, wholesale dealers is visible in the background on the right.

[Mr. Stuckey put six negatives (3 combined negatives) in one envelope. We have separated them and numbered them DC6f(1) through DC6f(6). From a combined negative.]
Some damage to matting, especially on the back. Photograph is good. There are two brads in the matting (one on the left edge, one on the right edge). The brads are connected to a (broken) red ribbon likely used to hang the photograph.

Scope and Content
Photograph was taken from the riverbank and shows the steel bridge in Souris, MB. A second wooden bridge is visible behind the steel bridge. The residence of Dr. W.A. Sherrin can be seen to the right of the bridges.

Dr. Sherrin's residence was identified using the Illustrated Souvenir of Souris, Manitoba (p. 38).
