Photograph shows street view of north side of Rosser Avenue, primarily the 700 block. Businesses visible in the Fleming Block include: Lowes Brothers Clothing, Robert Hall [Insurance Broker], Manitoba Farmers Hedge and Wire Fence Company. Businesses visible in the Beaubier Block include the Empire Hotel. Businesses east of the Empire Hotel are grocer A.M. Percival and the Brandon Hardware Company. A number of Aboriginal peoples are driving horse and carriages west along Rosser Avenue as spectators look on.

Photograph shows street view of north side of Rosser Avenue, primarily the 700 block. The Fleming Block, Beaubier Block and its Empire Hotel, A.M. Percival (a grocer), the Brandon Hardware Company (600 block), and the Arlington Hotel (500 block) are visible along the north side of the avenue. The Bank of Hamilton Building on the southeast corner of 8th Street and Rosser appears to be under construction. A sign in the second storey window above the main entrance reads: law office. The streets are muddy and a horse and buggy is traveling west on Rosser Avenue.

The Bank of Montreal rebuilt the former Bass Building directly across from it (southwest corner of 10th St. and Rosser Ave.), and moved into their new facilities in 1982.

Built in 1956 on the southeast east corner of 10th St. and Rosser Avenue (former site of the Olympia Cafe)
In the summer of 1981 the S.S. Kresge store closed, and the Bass Building was purchased by the Bank of Montreal with the intention to renovate and open in 1982.

Shows the Fleming monument and dates as erected in Brandon Cemetery in 1899.
"Fleming monument is easily found in oldest part of Brandon Cemetery" - Fred McGuinness collection (20-2009).
Before becoming the McPherson & Bedford funeral home, I am pretty sure this was the home of Dr. A.T. Condell, who arrived in 1904, left in 1906, returned in 1908, was district coroner for 30 years and died in 1943 (Barker). LAS.

Located on the west side of the 100 block of 11th Street
This is likely the same cigar factory mentioned by Barker (pages 110 & 179) as being owned by Barney Isman in 1907 and closing in 1917.
Building was the original Bank of Montreal
For many years this building housed the Carlton Café, prop. Sam Wong, later his sons Wesley, Walker and Charles. After Carlton, building became Trifons Pizza.
