Photograph shows an eastern view of the hospital grounds, including the 1922 hospital building.

Photograph shows a group of 47 men standing in a yard in front of a large brick building. Writing on the back of the photograph identifies these men as employees of the Hanbury Manufacturing Company.

This includes the "Downtown Brandon" sign.

Portions of the city as far north as the Assiniboine River are also visible.

The photograph was taken in late fall after the roof had been removed from the buildings but before the construction of the extension of Clark Hall. Construction materials litter the courtyard and driveway. The view looking north extends to The North Hill - a number of residential blocks, particularly to the northeast of 18th Street are visible. Buildings include the International Harvester Building and Kin Village.

Photograph shows the east side of 10th Street, Brandon, Manitoba. The Strand Theatre marquee shows "Gidget" starring Sandra Dee and Cliff Robertson. Other businesses in the Strand Block include: Ted Heming Jewellers, Waddell's, and Metropolitan Life.

Built in 1991-1992 for $1.4 million, the official opening of the Centre was May 29, 1992. The centre is currently (April 2010) called the Addictions Foundation of Manitoba, Parkwood Centre.
