[The organization of the boys' pipe band was initiated by a group of citizens of Scottish origin in 1934. The same group engaged an instructor for the band from Scotland; the kilts were discovered in Park School and permission was given by the School Board for their use by the band.]

Named "Imperial" as building was owned by Imperial Oil Co., which had offices on the ground floor. Located on the east side of Tenth Street, south of Princess Avenue.

Material is deteriorating around the edges, staining on canvas pocket, some letters are lifting, some with staining.
Scope and Content
Item was created by the Brandon College class of 1928 as part of their commencement activities. The flag, which is made of canvas, velvet and an undetermined woven material, features the class colours of purple and gold, as well as the class motto "Patet Omnibus Veritas" ("The truth is open to everyone"). The flag has ties for hanging.
