Stuckey's notes: This bridge was built by CPR and given to the city in 1904 because CPR wanted to close the very dangerous 6th Street crossing. Original negative. Collection of George H. Harris Winnipeg, Man.

Notes
[Mr. Stuckey put six negatives (3 combined negatives) in one envelope. We have separated them and numbered them DC6f(1) through DC6f(6). From a combined negative.]
[According to Mr. Stuckey] it snowed continuously from Oct. 7 to 10th, giving [Brandon] the heaviest snowfall ever recorded in October - must have been about 40".

In this photo CNR No. 6 Edmonton-Regina-Winnipeg is running 10 hours late as an Extra train
