Scope and Content
Photograph shows the intersection of 10th Street and Princess Avenue facing northeast. A stationary policeman/divider is situated in the centre of the intersection. A street car is travelling south on 10th Street. Angled parking is on both sides of the street. The lot on the northeast corner appears to be for sale and a solid wooden fence has several advertisements, including for: Majestic Radio, Imperial Gasoline (premier and ethyl), and a production a City Hall for "A Runaway Girl." The Brown Block has a third storey lined with dormer windows. Advertisements for Heintzamn & Co. Pianos Piano Tuning, J.J.H. McLean & Co. Ltd, and The Strand Optical Co. are painted on the south side of the Brown Block. Also present is an advertising board for the Capitol Theatre on which is a poster for "Cohens and Kellys in Atlantic City." Signs for the Strand Theatre, Hollywood Cafe, and Campbell's Furniture are also visible. A sign for Plaza Shoes can be seen on the west side of 10th Street. The train station can be seen at the base of the hill.

Image of the southside of the 1000 and 1100 block of Rosser Avenue looking east in winter. Visible in the foregraound are O.L. Harwood Ltd., and the Key Kafe. Buildings in the 1000 block include: the Imperial Bank of Canada, the original Post Office and Federal Building and the original Merchants Bank. A number of pedestrians are also visible, as are Christmas decorations on the streetlights and telephone poles.

History / Biographical
According to Russ Gourluck (Silver Screens on the Prairie, Winnipeg: Great Plains Publications, 2012, 26), the Orpheum Theatre was in operation from 1917 to 1920 when it then became the Willis Theatre.
Scope and Content
Postcard shows the 100 block of 10th Street facing north. The CPR train station can be seen at the end of 10th Street. The sign for the Rex Cafe is visible on the west side of 10th Street. On the east side of 10th Street, billboards for Campbell & Campbell furniture are visible as well as signs for Pianos and the Orpheum Theatre. Motorists and cyclists share the road. Street car tracks run the length of 10th Street.

Photograph shows a three-storey multi-family brick house that appears to have at least four units. The structure also has a basement. A group of five men are posing on a stoop on the west side of the building. Sapplings have been planted on the boulevard in front the building.

Scope and Content
Photograph shows the three storey brick terraced property at 12th Street and Lorne Avenue. The entrance/stoop on the west side of the property appears to have been removed and the Lorne Street entrances have been modified (see 3-1997.72 for a comparison). Ivy is growing up the side of the house and the tree on the boulevard have grown and tower above the roof-line. A motor car is parked on Lorne Avenue in front the property.
