Photograph shows a family residence in the city. Four adults (three men and one woman) and three male children are standing at the property's fence or on the wooden sidewalk.

This house was built in 1907. It was constructed for the Bank of Montreal as the residence of the local bank manager, W.G.A. Watson, and was used for that purpose until the 1960s.

The grassy area in the photograph is now occupied by the John R. Brodie Science Centre and McMaster Hall.
