Photograph shows guests at a gathering in the backyard of the President's Residence on the corner of 13th Street and Victoria Avenue. Among the guests were (L to R): Alice and Len Evans (MLA for Brandon East and Cabinet Minister), Queen Elizabeth II, Prince Phillip, Stanley Knowles and the Hon. James Richardson (MP for Winnipeg South and Cabinet Minister). In the back row, above the child in the crowd is Elias Haddad. Dignitaries were part of the cornerstone laying ceremony of the John R. Brodie Science Centre.

Mr. Stuckey originally placed 32 negatives in one envelope labeled “M – Presidents of Fair Boards 1882 – 1972”; We have separated and renumbered these negatives as M30(1) to M30(32) inclusively; Records of the Provincial Exhibition Association are held in the S.J. McKee Archives (RG2) including photos of board members.

A woman and child are seated on one side of the ballustrade and a woman in an overcoat and hat is seated on either side of the ballustrade. Neighbouring homes are also visible.

Designed by W.A. Elliott, this house was built in 1905 for the Christie family. Ernest (E.L.) Christie was a stationer and founder of Christie's School Supplies, now Christie's Office Plus. It has been designated a heritage property by the City of Brandon.

This house was built in 1910, for W.D. Clement, the son of Brandon's first sheriff and a local pharmacist. In 1919, it served as Clark Hall Annex for Brandon College students. It was subdivided during the 1930s.
