Photograph was in possession of Mrs. Ruby Miles, who passed the image on to Fred McGuinness. McGuinness makes reference to Mrs. Miles and this photograph in his Sunbeams column (Brandon Sun 14 September 1978).
Scope and Content
Photograph shows a horse drawn wagon advertising Cowan's Cocoa. The Gilmore Advertising Company of Toronto appears to be responsible for the ad and the wagon is numbered "No.4". Three men appear in the photograph: one behind the reigns, one in the rear seat of the wagon, and other standing at the rear axel.

One blueprint containing detailed drawings of the basement floor of the proposed library addition. This area was referred to as the heritage floor as it was initially devoted to museum and archaeological classroom and laboratory spec.

The Eaton's store was located at the southwest corner of 7th Street and Rosser Avenue. The store closed c. 1997 and since 2000 the building has been occupied by the Art Gallery of Southwestern Manitoba and the Brandon Public Library.

Photograph shows the main floor of Brandon's Eaton's store. Various displays, the gift wrapping centre and staircase to the basement or second floor are visible.

2.1 Documents
Brandon's City Hall and Opera House opened on New Year's Day 1892 with the Annual Fireman's Ball. The exterior of the building was designed by Brandon architect W.R. Marshall. At the south end was the Opera House, an auditorium formed by an internally exposed framework of delicate iron pillars and trusses. Demonlished in 1971, the limestone rubble of the foundations were turned into a sunken garden located in Princess Park.

Photograph is looking north northeast and shows Darrach Hall with the Main Dining Room and the Citizens' Science Building in the background during winter. A number of cars are parked along the street and on the campus grounds.
Item consists of twenty five contact prints. Images include photographs of campus taken from the roof of McMaster Hall as well as photographs of residence rooms, bathrooms and common rooms in McMaster Hall.
