The spoons celebrate Brandon University's 25th Anniversary (1967-1992). They are gold plated teaspoons with a round emblem in blue with the words "Brandon University 25, 1967-1992" in gold. The spoons are approximately 11.5 cm long.

Bob and Kay Howland at Dunrobin, in Ottawa, hosted a reunion of the Brandon University Alumni Association. Present at the function were : Jim and Marina Lalung, Mr. and Mrs. Assison Boles, Ed Neal, Connie and Del Hewitt-White, Dorine and Hugh Best, Mary and Jack Wickers, Ian and Beverley Barnes, Nevin and Mary Ann Shaw, Mr. and Mrs. Roberts, Carol and Bob Milne, Dorothy and Clay Elston, Lenore Dinsdale, Bob and Elsie Farrell, Willa Davies, Jack Perkins (Association President), Bob and Kay Howland. The chain between the Brandon College portion of the pin and the '35 portion of the pin is broken. There is some discoloration on the '35 pin.
Custodial History
Item belonged to Winnifred Harvery, B.A. '35. It was donted to the Alumni Association at Brandon University in 1990.
Scope and Content
The pin consists of two parts, both pins in their own right. The first pin is a circle, 1 cm in diameter, with a small banner on top. The main circle is black with BC entwined in the middle and a link border around the outside. The lettering and border are in gold. The banner on top is also black, with the letters McM.U. in gold. This pin is linked to a second pin by a gold chain. The second pin consists of the numbers '35, in gold.
This pin was part of a donation, along with item 24, from Jean Bennest, class of 1934. It's original owner is unknown. The date the items arrived at the McKee Archives is also unknown.
Scope and Content
The pin consists of two parts, both pins in their own right. The first pin consists of three triangles and is art deco in design. The background of the triangles is red with each triangle edged in silver. The smallest triangle contains the letter "B, " the middle triangle the lettter "C," and the largest triangle the word "Arts." All the lettering is in silver. The first pin is connected to the second pin by a silver chain. The second pin consists of the number 30 and is sterling silver.

Photograph shows the City of Brandon parade float pulled by two clydesdale horses. The parade is in honour of the diamond anniversary of Canada's Confederation. The float is decorated with wheat sheaves, the city's coat of arms, and the words "education" and "health" adorn a pergola or arbour in the centre of the float. Seven people are on the float and appear to be in costume. An Aboriginal man is dressed in full regalia, one man appears to be in academic robes, another dressed as a farmer. One woman appears to be dressed like a nurse while another may be wearing a pioneer costume.

Writing on the back of the photograph reads: Brandon City's foat in 1927, Celebrating 60 years of Confederation, The lady in white is Miss Ann Carnahan who was on the city staff for a number of years and now resides in Victoria. She is my husbands [sic.] sister.

The three plates are identical and measure 26.5 cm in diameter. They were made to celebrate Brandon University's 75th Anniversary (899-1974). The plates are primarily white with a faint blue or green outer edge. In the centre is a picture of the University campus looking south from 18th Street; the Brandon University sign, the Drama building (originally the Science building and currently the Knowles-Douglas Student Union building), the Brodie building and McMaster Hall are all visible. "75th Anniversary 1899-1974" is on the back of each plate in gold lettering.

Photograph was taken from the roof of the Library and shows the walkway and flower bed on the southeast corner of the George T. Richardson Centre. The Physical Plant H-Hut is visible in the top right hand corner.
