Photograph shows the northwest corner of 10th Street and Princess Avenue. Traffic on the west side of Princess Avenue appears to travelling both ways. A taxi waits at the intersection.
Above the west entrance on the corner building is an electric sign that spells "Hughes Bldg." A second storey has been added to the portion of the Doig's shop that is adjacent to the Alexandra Block.
File consists of correpondence, tickets, band director Rodney Hudson's timetable, newsletters, an instrumental music program report, a list of string scholarships, an instrument brand names meeting standards list and a list of instruments, addresses, notes on billets, requests for accomodations, an agreement respecting the use of school buildings and news releases.

Photograph shows the interior of a bar with a group of 18 patrons and staff standing to the right of the counter. Two framed photographs of dogs playing poker hang above the bar. Date ascertained from certificate hanging above the cash register.

William Henderson is listed as the bartender for the Grand Union Hotel in the 1909 Henderson's Brandon City Directory.
The Brandon Armoury was built in 1907. The extension on the southside was built in 1937.
