File 1b also contains minutes, correspondence and reports (particularly from the Library) for the General Faculty of Brandon College and Brandon University for the years 1959-1967.
File consists of correpondence, tickets, band director Rodney Hudson's timetable, newsletters, an instrumental music program report, a list of string scholarships, an instrument brand names meeting standards list and a list of instruments, addresses, notes on billets, requests for accomodations, an agreement respecting the use of school buildings and news releases.

The three plates are identical and measure 26.5 cm in diameter. They were made to celebrate Brandon University's 75th Anniversary (899-1974). The plates are primarily white with a faint blue or green outer edge. In the centre is a picture of the University campus looking south from 18th Street; the Brandon University sign, the Drama building (originally the Science building and currently the Knowles-Douglas Student Union building), the Brodie building and McMaster Hall are all visible. "75th Anniversary 1899-1974" is on the back of each plate in gold lettering.

View is northwest from the roof of the John R. Brodie Science Centre. Photograph shows the roof of the Knowles Douglas Students' Union Centre, the Citizens' Science Building, and the Brandon College Building and Clark Hall during renovation.
Photograph was taken from the roof of the Library and shows the walkway and flower bed on the southeast corner of the George T. Richardson Centre. The Physical Plant H-Hut is visible in the top right hand corner.
