File consists of correspondence, pamphlets and notices for various Brandon University departments/services/events, a membership list of the Brandon University Women's Auxillary, news releases, a Department of Extension report, a draft questionnaire, a detailed account of building structures past/present/future on Brandon University campus, and the listing of artists in the "150 years of Art in Manitoba" exhibit.
File consists of memos, a list of faculty publications etc. (1972), a Credit Extension remuneration agreement (1974), information on a statistics class, a petition regarding Bobcat football, Athletics workload rationale, a proposal for the History Department, proposed terms of reference - Dean of Arts, proposed terms of reference - departmental chairman/head, and the report of the Economics Department for the academic year 1972-1973.

The records found within the fonds were collected by Bill Paton from a number of people, including Lynda Macson and Gus Henzil, who were involved with various aspects of the Hortline project throughout the years. Prior to their donation to the S.J. McKee Archives at Brandon University, the records were stored in Dr. Paton’s Office in the John R. Brodie Science

Fonds consists of correspondence, newspaper clippings regarding the Hortline and their activities within the community, monthly reports (summer of 1979), Plant Problem Forms and related missellania associated with the activities of the Hortline.
