McNeil-Hordern graduted from Brandon University in 1987. She was the Executive Assitant to the President during Perkins' era and during Mallea's ear (1985-1990) she ran the Planning Office. McNeil-Hordern is married to former Brandon University Dean of Arts and member of the Religion Department, Peter Hordern.

Scope and Content
Photograph of Alison McNeil-Hordern and her son Scott Greenlay was taken at a special event to mark Brandon's centennial in 1981. For the occassion McNeil-Hordern wore her mother's wedding gown; Greenlay wore his grandfather's wedding suit.
Photograph was taken by Christy Henry on August 10, 2002 following the grand opening of the Labyrinth of Peace. The Labyrinth is situated in the Assiniboine River Corridor near the Discovery Centre in Brandon, Manitoba.
