Photograph of an "outing" by train to Forrest, MB. Writing on the back of the photo states that the man in the striped blazer is very likely T. Mayne Daly. Photo was taken at the Great North West Railway station.
The winter carnival was composed of recreational and athletic activities. It also included a dance and the crowning of a carnival king and queen.

Photograph of students on an ice rink taken during Brandon University's winter carnival. The partially visible hockey player is Mel Jesson. To the right is the winter carnival mascot.
Photograph shows Robert (Bob) Ford dressed as the Pied Piper playing a soprano saxophone surrounded by children in costume, some carrying Brandon University Alumni pennants. Photo was taken during the Brandon University Homecoming Parade held in downtown Brandon.
Photograph shows a group of 10 men, eight whom are wearing sweaters with the letters WCBC appliqued across the chest. The goalie is seated in a wodden chair and wears his goalie pads and skates. The four other players in the front row are also wearing skates and have their hockey sticks.

Photograph shows the recently constructed Strathcona Block. H. Lamontagne & Co. Ltd., Wholesale, occupies the ground floor. Scaffolding is suspended from the north side of the building. Buildings have yet to be erected to the north and south sides of the Strathcona Block.
