Photograph shows a group of 38 loggers outside their camp. The men are wearing long-sleeved shirts, sweaters, and coveralls. One man is holding a cat on his lap, another appears to be holding a rifle.
Heavy accretion of dust on image and frame. Bulging of surface in TR area of painting (probably from the pressure from the back). Three tears in canvas: 24.5cm to 32cm TR X 30cm to 34.5 cm R; 33cm to 35.5cm RM; and 35cm R X 35cm B (2cm in diameter). M
Photograph shows two separate views. One is of the main entrance of (Old) City Hall on Princess Avenue. The other view shows the ediface of the YMCA building as well as the adjacent St. Paul's United and First United Churches on 8th Street.
