Visible businesses include: Recreation Bowling & Billiards, Bottomley's, Barry Neill Men's Wear, Simpsons-Sears, Allied Hardware Stores, Box Brothers Hardware, Doig's. Painted on the north face of the Strathcona Block are two advertisements, one for Sutherland and Robertson [Grocery] and the other for Boyd Electric Co. Ltd.

File consists of fourteen envelopes of negatives of students who graduated in 1988. Each envelope is labelled with the name of the student and the date the negatives were taken. The students are: Tom Addison, Rae Bidinosti, Debbie Hrappstead, Jeffrey Minto, Tim Nahachewsky, Noel Walter, M. Page, Sharon Powers, Lee Rieck, Wendy Rungay, Andy Spence, D. H. Vincent Kidd was born in 1905 at Stoughton, Saskatchewan. He obtained his first class teaching certificate and taught for four and a half years before taking his B.Sc. and M.Sc. at the University of Manitoba. Kidd recieved his Ph.D. at the University of London.
While in England, Kidd held a scholarship from the depatment of Industrial and Scientific Research of the British Government and lectured at the Unviersity of London. He also spent four years with Great Britain's Imperial Chemical Industries Limited and was in charge of T.C.T. at Birmingham, England. During the Second World War, Kidd was in the head office of Canadian Industries Limited doing research and development work for the Canadian Government in connection with the war effort.
Kidd taught in the Chemistry Department at Brandon College from 1946-1963. Vincent Kidd died in Brandon, MB in 1963.

Accession 3-1997 (84 photographs, various diplomas; 1886-1960) contains a variety of photographs of buildings and streetscapes of the 100 block of Tenth Street and various Hughes properties in the city. In addition, there are photographs of the "Founders of Hughes and Co," a parade on Tenth Street in 1924, the Wheat City Business College Hockey Team 1912, three photographs of the Port of Churchill in 1931, three photographs of threshing crews on Hughes and Company property, a Great War military contingent from Brandon including JRC Evans, and four family photographs.
Located at the centre of the Brandon University campus, the Physical Plant H-Hut was destroyed following the opening of the new $3.9M, 13,600 square-foot physical plant on 07 April 2010.
