Bunclody, MB was located near Souris, MB. The bridge in question crossed the Souris River.

Scope and Content
Photograph shows railroad tracks (presumably Great Northern Railway tracks near Bunclody) during winter. Also visible are an elevator, outbuildings and part of a train sitting beside the tracks.
Postcard shows a street scene of Donald Street looking south from the Portage Avenue Intersection.

Writing on the back of the postcard reads: Aug 9, Dear ruth, Aunt Eva, Aunt Annie and Fred were over to the bowlnig greens tonight. Every one fine. Doddy. Postcard is addressed to Ruth McGuinness, 337-17th St., Brandon, Man. Postmarked: Winnipeg 12 PM Aug 10 1927 Man.
The elevator was constructed in 1905 by the Western Canada Flour Mills on the Muir-Helston Branch of the Canadian Northern Railway. In May 1940, the building was sold to Manitoba Pool Elevators and, in August 1940, re-sold to farmers belonging to the Helson Co-operative Elevator Association No. 160. The elevator closed in December 1978 when the adjacent rail line was abandoned.
