Photograph shows a portion of the Great Northern Railway track with the Bunclody bridge in the background. Also visible are a couple of houses, railway cars, lumber and part of the Souris River. The photograph was taken in early winter or early spring.

Photograph shows railroad tracks (presumably Great Northern Railway tracks near Bunclody) during winter. Also visible are an elevator, outbuildings and part of a train sitting beside the tracks.
Photograph shows CNR train No.44 carrying loads of lumber. Engineers pose with the locomotive. Several men pose on the railway tracks. Snow and ice appear in the ditch.

Photograph shows a CPR passenger trains at the old Brandon train station. Carts/trolleys appear to be loaded with wooden crates and metal milk containers. Photograph was likely taken from the 8th Street Bridge. The ramp to the 8th Street Bridge can be seen on the ride of the photograph, where residences line Assiniboine Avenue.
Curran Park is located at 4100 Grand Valley Rd, Brandon, MB. Originally called Suburban Park, it underwent a formal name change in 1934, in honour of J.P. Curran, a lawyer, civil servant and judge, who died in 1928.
The City of Brandon first set aside $6000 for the acquisition of a new park in 1911, but the acquisition of appropriate land stalled for a number of years. Finally in 1919, the city was able to acquire a parcel of Crown land the Brandon Industrial School was located on, to establish the park; the land was acquired through a 99-year lease. Suburban Park officialy opened in 1921.
The development of the park was gradual. Some of the work was completed as part of the Brandon Parks Board's unemployment relief planning; from 1931-1936, relief workers cleared underbrush, thinned trees, constructed a road and built latrines. In 1933 a refreshment stand was approved and a large cook stove was donated.
The City of Brandon and the Department of Agriculture (in right of the Crown) agreed to terminate the original park lease in March 1965, with the city purchasing the land outright. Curran Park was sold to Gretna businessman Gerald Voth in 2001, and renamed Turtle Crossing.

Photograph is a close-up of the Great Northern Railroad bridge or trestle at Bunclody under construction. There are two men standing on the support structure.
The Motor Mart Building in Sioux City, Iowa, is listed on the United States National Park Service's National Register of Historic Places. The State Historical Society of Iowa submitted the application in 1993. The building is an architectural example of the Commercial Style of the late 19th and early 20th Century American Movement designed by E.J. Henriques and C.F. Lytle Co. The building has a concrete foundation, brick walls, and a concrete roof. The Turner Mushroom System, a patented structural system involving a poured reinforced concrete framed, was used in the construction of the building. Photograph shows a four-storey brick building, with a large showroom on the main floor. Inside, automobiles can be seen on display. Banners in the store windows read White Moon. The photograph was taken at night and exterior lights decorate the building.
