The cream pitcher was presented "to the co-eds" on their first function, March 11, 1937, by the Brandon College Men, along with a sugar bowl and teapot. It is made of silver and approximately 8.5 cm tall by 13 cm long. The cream pitcher was made by William Rogers in Hamilton, ON.

Kay Smith (nee Oliver) donated this item, along with items 6 and 7 from RG 6, sub-series 16.2 (Artifacts - apparel) to the Archives in May of 2003. She graduated from Brandon College in 1953 and again in 1955.
Scope and Content
The sweater is a cream cardigan with five white buttons, as well as one gold band and one blue band on the upper left arm.

Arthur D. Amiotte is a member of Oglala Sioux Tribe. Educated in the U.S., Amiotte has worked on and edited numerous native art and myth books. As a recognized artist, Amiotte won many awards and honors from various North American arts foundations. Amiotte has been exhibited extensively in the United States and Canada.
