Louise Chapman graduated from Brandon College in 1958, was a member of the Library staff c. 1962 and taught piano and theory for the School of Music c. 1963-1966.
Lake Clementi was Brandon's popular summer resort until the opening of Clear Lake. There were summer cottages all along the south shore, as well as a grocery and confectionery store and a dancehall.

The Manitoba Pool Elevator in Oak Lake, Manitoba, was built in 1928. In 1951 an annex was constructed beside it. After the elevator was closed in 1988 it was briefly used for private storage. By 2016 it was demolished.

Slide was in the possession of John Everitt before its donation to the SJ McKee Archives in 2007.
