Image of grain elevators, etc. Brookdale, Manitoba, near the CPR North rail line.
Excavated earth was loaded into a hopper, which itself was on a rail running a half block back. It was then dumped back to fill the trench where pipe installation had already been completed - Art Baker (of Art's Confectionery, NE 15th St. & Princess Ave.). This information was provided in response to a request in the Brandon Sun (Fred McGuinness) for further information.

Kay Smith (nee Oliver) donated this item, along with items 6 and 7 from RG 6, sub-series 16.2 (Artifacts - apparel) to the Archives in May of 2003. She graduated from Brandon College in 1953 and again in 1955.
Scope and Content
The sweater is a blue cardigan with seven blue buttons, two front pockets and two gold bands on the upper left arm.
