Moffat was a Brandon College graduate. She also taught piano in the Music Department in 1921-1923, 1924-1926 and 1927-1929.

Bob and Kay Howland at Dunrobin, in Ottawa, hosted a reunion of the Brandon University Alumni Association. Item is The Quill-Alumni Award for Outstanding Achievement given to Trent Gardner Frayne at Homecoming 1990 and in honour of the 80th Anniversary of the Quill.
