The Library left this location in 1984 when it moved to the former Co-op store on 7th Street & Princess Avenue. This building subsequently became the Brandon Chamber of Commerce building in September of 1985. According to Stuckey, the façade of the building is to remain as heritage building, with interior renovations undertaken with government financing.

Photograph shows the front of the Metropolitan Store Ltd. at night, in particular four large display windows displaying men's and women's apparel and baked goods. Signs in the windows read: Grand opening sale Friday and Saturday.

The Eaton's store was located at the southwest corner of 7th Street and Rosser Avenue. The store closed c. 1997 and since 2000 the building has been occupied by the Art Gallery of Southwestern Manitoba and the Brandon Public Library.

Image of CP 2nd 82: 5606-5008-5730-5722, arriving at Solsgirth, Manitoba. Image was taken along the CPR Minnedosa & Bredenbury subdivision (ex. Manitoba & N.W. Railway).
The original Merchants Bank of Canada building (built 1890) was, at one time, used by St. John's Ambulance.
The second Merchants Bank of Canada building (built 1906) was used as the Brandon branch of the Western Manitoba Regional Library, and now is home to the Brandon Chamber of Commerce (P.E. 23/06/09).
The original Federal Building and Post Office was built in 1891
