Scope and Content
Photograph shows parade floats travelling on 100 block of 8th Street (Brandon). Horse-drawn floats appear to belong to the Amalgamated Society of Carpenters and Joiners, Murdock/Murdoch Brothers (furniture dealers), and F.W. Durst (cement contractor). Businesses visible in the background include the Sylvester Brothers Manufacturing Company and McDiarmid and Clarke lumber and fuel yard. Spectators in the foreground are leaning on a wooden fence likely belonging to the Old City Hall.

Writing on the front of the photograph matting reads: 315 July 1906. Two photographs (20-2009.7, 20-2009.6) are glued on the reverse side. Page appears to be from a photo album.
Photograph shows Mr. Blight standing on a hay wagon while he feeds the threshing machine. Lance Blight is standing in the foreground.

Photograph shows a harvest scene in the Assiniboine Valley. Stacks of wheat are in the process of being loaded into horse-drawn wagon carts. A threashing machine is set-up in the field next to an empty wagon. A woman in 1920s-era clothing is walking in the field.

July 12 Orange Lodge parade in progress; Shows that there was a building in what was for many years, a small vacant lot behind the Bank of Montreal; Campbell & Campbell building and Security Block. Davidson (photography) Studio on awning - became Henfries studio and, in 1923, Jerrets' Studio.
