The photograph belonged to Tom Black who appears in the photograph (he is listed as J. Black). His son Errol acquired it at the time of his father's death and donated it to the McKee Archives in 2007.
Scope and Content
Photograph consists of portraits of the players and executive of the Southend Football Club. The Southend Football Club were winners of the Charity Cup in 1927, 1928 and 1930.

Scope and Content
Photograph shows a team portrait of Canadian footballers (soccer players) posing in the Melbourne Cricket grounds in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. Members of the Canadian team include: front row - Fred Bowman, George Forrest, Bob Harley, Jimmie Adam, Dickie Stobbart, Bill Linning, Leslie Ford; back row - Jack Armstrong, J. Hood, Jim Wilson, George Anderson, Hank Noseworthy, Mitch McLean, Fred Dierden, William Sanford (source: Canada Soccer Flickr page, https://www.flickr.com/photos/canadasoccer/7257687442, accessed 23 Nov 2015). Canada won 3-nil (source: The Argus, 2 July 1924, 17).

The three plates are identical and measure 26.5 cm in diameter. They were made to celebrate Brandon University's 75th Anniversary (899-1974). The plates are primarily white with a faint blue or green outer edge. In the centre is a picture of the University campus looking south from 18th Street; the Brandon University sign, the Drama building (originally the Science building and currently the Knowles-Douglas Student Union building), the Brodie building and McMaster Hall are all visible. "75th Anniversary 1899-1974" is on the back of each plate in gold lettering.

Photograph was taken from the roof of the Library and shows the walkway and flower bed on the southeast corner of the George T. Richardson Centre. The Physical Plant H-Hut is visible in the top right hand corner.
View is southwest from the roof of the George T. Richardson Centre. Photograph shows the curved glass wall of the John E. Robbins Library, the walkway between the Library and the Dining Hall, the Dining Hall and Darrach Hall.
View is east northeast from the sidewalk on the southeast corner of the George T. Richardson Centre (John R. Robbins Library). Photographs shows the campus during winter, including the Physical Plant and Development H-Huts, as well as the Brandon College Building and Clark Hall after the majority of the renovations were completed.
