Stuckey's notes: Date determination: Engine 93, ex 375 received Series 2 numbering Sept. 1907 and repainting is still clean; some trees have leaves so could be Sept. 1907 but more likely about May 1908.

Photograph is looking west along the CPR tracks. Trains at the station have both freight and passenger cars - freight and baggage is being loaded, while people are both arriving and departing.

[This eastward aerial view of downtown Brandon seems to portray an outdoor second-story parking garage proposed by the architectural firm Ward, MacDonald and Partners. The proposed overhead parking is depicted as running continuously from Sixth Street to Tenth Street along Rosser Avenue. Above the west entrance on the corner building is an electric sign that spells "Hughes Bldg." A second storey has yet to be added to the portion of the Doig's shop that is adjacent to the Alexandra Block.
Fitwell Tailors, a barber shop, and the Federal Building are visible on Princess Avenue.

Notes
The second floor of the Imperial Oil building became the Imperial Dance Garden in 1934. The small wooden post in a concrete foundation in the centre of the intersection was called a "Silent Policeman". You were supposed to keep it on your left while making a left turn. They took quite a beating.
