Brandon University Archaeology field school assistant Jessica McKenzie worked at the Graham and Atkinson sites in 2006. Pages 1 to 44 relate to the Graham site.
Scope and Content
Field journal by Brandon University Archaeology field school assistant Jessica McKenzie. Journal contains information about excavation methods, items recovered, features, local environment and weather. Pages 1-44 relate to the Graham 2006 site.
In 2007 the Brandon University Archaeology Field School was held at the Crepeele site in the Crepeele locale. Denise Ens instructed the school with Kate Decter & Jessica MacKenzie assistants.
Seventeen units were excavated XU 30 - 46. Faunal (animal bone), lithics, fire cracked rock, diagnostic lithics and ceramics were recovered from the site. There are over 3050 records in the catalogue.

History / Biographical
The Crepeele site was excavated in 2003 and again in 2004. Units 1 to 8 were excavated in 2004. Field journals were maintained by the crew chief and assistant. The crew also excavated other sites during the field season and the relevant page numbers are noted for each journal.

Pages 1-9 consist of Field Director, Bev Nicholson's field journal. Pages contain information about the site in general and coordinates for the survey.
Files consist of the survey completed by G.A. Brakeley & Co. Ltd., a list of questions with answers from D.R. MacKay, a retrospect, a report on higher education in western Manitoba, financial information, lists of outstanding graduates, a brief of Mr. P.A. Kennedy regarding religious courses at Brandon College, correpondence, Christie's map of Brandon, and reference materials.
Notes
G.A. Brakeley & Co. Ltd. were retained by the Board of Directors of Brandon College in June 1958 to conduct a survey, make an analysis and prepare a plan in respect of a campaign for the purpose of raising capital funds.
