File consists of an agreement between the University and A.L. Dulmage, a copy of the presidential contractural arrangements, lists of furnishings, correspondence, a motor vehicle rental agreement, a list of renovations, as well as other records dealing with the residence.

This house was built in 1907. It was constructed for the Bank of Montreal as the residence of the local bank manager, W.G.A. Watson, and was used for that purpose until the 1960s.

Photograph is looking west and shows the new Students' Residence Complex, consisting of Darrach Hall, Flora Cowan Hall, and the Main Dining Room, funded by the Central Mortgage & Housing Corporation. The grassy area in the photograph is now occupied by the John R. Brodie Science Centre and McMaster Hall.
Photograph shows Hon. James Richardson, Queen Elizabeth, Prince Phillip and A.L. Dulmage conversing with with other individuals at a gathering in the backyard of the President's Residence on the corner of 13th Street and Victoria Avenue. Dignitaries were part of the cornerstone laying ceremony of the John R. Brodie Science Centre.
