The Towerman controlled the crossing gates, [as well as] switches and signals for all routes into and out of the station and freight yards. [Mr. Stuckey's] grandfather, Samuel Gilmour, operated the previous tower for many years (which only operated the crossing gates), and continued to operate the new tower for several years after it was built (ca. 1929). This tower was made obsolete with the installation of Centralized Traffic Control in 1965.

[Mr. Stuckey numbered two envelopes P20. We have kept the same number but designated the first envelope P20(1) and the contents of the second envelope P20(2) and P20(3).]
Photograph was taken on the front lawn and shows nine female students who were either members of the Class of 1930 or the Class of 1931. L to R: Isabel (Hitchings) Garland, Louis (Garnet) Young, Mary (Maltman) Haramia, Ruth (Bigham) Alexander, Thelma (Stoodley) Pallister, Jean (Hutchings) Chase, Van (Hitchings?) Cummings, Kay (Underwood) Pickard, and Marie (Evans) McDonnell.

Built in 1991-1992 for $1.4 million, the official opening of the Centre was May 29, 1992. The centre is currently (April 2010) called the Addictions Foundation of Manitoba, Parkwood Centre.

Photograph shows two elderly women standing on a porch. These women are likely Fred McGuinness' paternal (left) and maternal (right) grandmothers, Anna Charlotte GALLAGHER (b. 19 September 1861/1863/1864 – d. 10 March 1948) and Mary DARROCH (b. 24 May 1861 – d. 18 September 1942), respectively.
Item consists of portraits of the women of Brandon College Class of 1946.
