History / Biographical
Several years ago the Alumni Relations began a program of class reunions and reconvocation in conjunction with annual spring convocations. This program continues to the present (March 2006) and this document was produced in 2003 for the Class of 1943 reunion.
Custodial History
Images remain in the possession of Betty Knowlton (nee Burgoyne). She provided copies of the images to the Alumni Office for the Class of 1943 reunion. Those images were transferred to the McKee Archives by Alumni Relations.
Scope and Content
File consists of copies of photographs of the Class of 1943 provided by Betty Knowlton (nee Burgoyne) for the Class of 1943 reunion. The photographs and descriptions are mounted on Brandon University cardstock. File also contains the program for the President's Reception and Dinner.
Approximately 5000 photographic negatives, and some colour prints.
History / Biographical
Morris Predinchuk was a professional photographer, who during the period 1987-1999, was retained by Brandon University to photograph convocations and graduants. Each of the personal portraits was the product of a contract between Predinchuck and a graduant for a graduation photograph. Morris Predinchuk died in Moosomin, Saskatchewan on January 16, 2007 at the age of 75 years.
Custodial History
The images were picked up by the Archives from Predinchuk's business in the Towne Centre Mall on Septemeber 27, 2005.
Scope and Content
Sub-series consists of negatives and prints of approximately 2600 graduants and honourary degree recipients at Brandon University spring and fall convocations from 1987-1998 and the spring convocation of 1999. All the images were taken by Morris Predinchuk.
Notes
For descriptive purposes it was decided to group the negatives by convocation rather than describing each individual negative. Predinchuck's obituary appeared in the January 19, 2007 edition of the Brandon Sun.

Arrangement
Original order - chronological. All of the negatives are labelled and placed in labelled envelopes.
Some of the pages are hard to read as the photocopy wasn't made dark enough.
History / Biographical
The 'scrapbook' was made by Lloyd Henderson and distributed to members of the Class of 1949 by Dave Organ.
Custodial History
Accessioned in 2007 by the McKee Archives. Prior custodial history is unknown.
Scope and Content
File consists of photocopies of pages from the Sickle on the Class of 1949, a list of class members lost (by 1979) and letters written by various members of the class of 1949 detailing their lives since they graduated from Brandon College.
Photographs in the sub-series were transfered to the Archives from the Public Communications office on various dates.

Sub-series consists photographs of students and faculty at convocation, as well as honorary degree and award recipients.

Scope and Content
File consists of the package given to each writer upon their arrival at the festival. The package includes a program and poster for the event, letters of welcome from: Louis Vistentin, President of Brandon University; Linda Burridge, University Librarian; Reinhold Kramer, Acting Dean of Arts; Darell Racine, Chair, Native Studies Department; Dave Burgess, Mayor of Brandon; and Di Brandt, Festival Committee. It also includes general information for the event, the University and the campus, and a bibliography of Canadian Aboriginal literature in the John E. Robbins Library.
