The item is a poster published by the Baptist Union of Western Canada promoting Brandon College Sunday, February 28, 1932 asking Baptists throughout Western Canada to support Brandon College financially in its hour of need. The poster asserts that "Pres. Evans is Leading in the Sacrificial Effort by Faculty and Friends to keep the College open."
Designed by W.A. Elliott, this house was built in 1905 for the Christie family. Ernest (E.L.) Christie was a stationer and founder of Christie's School Supplies, now Christie's Office Plus. It has been designated a heritage property by the City of Brandon.

This house was built in 1910, for W.D. Clement, the son of Brandon's first sheriff and a local pharmacist. In 1919, it served as Clark Hall Annex for Brandon College students. It was subdivided during the 1930s.

This house was built in 1907. It was constructed for the Bank of Montreal as the residence of the local bank manager, W.G.A. Watson, and was used for that purpose until the 1960s.

Several years ago the Alumni Relations began a program of class reunions and reconvocation in conjunction with annual spring convocations. This program continues to the present (March 2006) and this document was produced in 2003 for the Class of 1943 reunion.
Custodial History
Images remain in the possession of Betty Knowlton (nee Burgoyne). She provided copies of the images to the Alumni Office for the Class of 1943 reunion. Those images were transferred to the McKee Archives by Alumni Relations.

Thomas Elton Wesley (Wesley) Pentland, son of T.J. and Annie Isabel (McVety) Pentland, was born on October 21, 1889 in Justice, MB. He died on September 25, 1981 in Brandon, MB. Wesley married Harriet Mary Brownell on April 14, 1942 in Winnipeg, MB. They had no children.
