Courtney Milne, a native of the Canadian prairies, grew up in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. He was educated at the University of Saskatchewan, Brooks Institute, Santa Barbara, California, and the University of Minnesota. Milne is the author of several books: 'Prairie Light', 'Prairie Dreams' and recently 'The Sacred Earth', which contains images of 140 world sites that have held mystical and sacred importance for humanity (foreword to this book is written by His Holiness the Dalai Lama). Milne's work has been extensively exhibited both on national and international levels. Courtney Milne lives with his wife Sherrill Miller on an acreage outside Saskatoon. Bertha Cunningham is a Western Manitoban artist who has studied at the Banff School of Fine Arts several summers and has painted in Winnipeg for periods under the guidance of members of the School of Fine Art. She paints mainly landscapes. (1969 inventory)
