Hamilton was hired in 1984, as a Brandon University employee but became a Cook from approximately 1989 until 2002. In 2002 she became the Manager of Food Services at Brandon University, as a Brandon University employee. In 2003, the contract for Versa Foods (formerly called Aramark Canada) expired, and Brandon University decided not to renew the contract and decided to operate the Food Services themselves, with Hamilton remaining a BU employee. The position was renamed Food Services Manager (replacing Food Services Director) c. 2002; Food Services is part of Ancillary Services, which is headed by the Director of Ancillary Services with the Food Services manager reporting to that individual.

William David Willey was born on August 30, 1906 in Hattiesburg, Mississipi. He spent five years in Ontario during World War I, but otherwise lived in Maryland until immigrating to Canada in 1922. For three years he worked for the Canadian National Railway (CNR), before joining the staff at the Brandon Mental Health Centre (BMHC) in 1926. He retired from the BMHC in 1971. Dave married Jeannie Agnes Mayben (1909-1990) in 1959. They had no children. Dave Willey died in 1993 in Brandon, MB. He is buried at Rosewood Memorial Gardens.
Custodial History
As part of the Westman Oral History Collection, this collection was accessioned by the McKee Archives in 1998. The original tapes from the Westman Oral History project were deposited in the Brandon Public Library. Copies of these originals were made by Margaret Pollex of the Brandon University Language Lab at the request of Eileen McFadden, University Archivist in the early 1990s. These copies compose the collection held in the McKee Archives.
